Vivien Goldman is touring the german speaking territory with the translated version of Revenge of the She-Punks (Die Rache der She-Punks – Eine feministische Musikgeschichte von Poly Styrene bis Pussy Riot / Ventil Verlag). She will be presenting and reading from it at school, Vienna on September 7th, 2022. The Event is for free and starts at 7PM.

A Londoner, she has lived in Paris and Jamaica and now resides in New York. Since she started out in the vigorous British rock press of the 1970s, often working with Bob Marley (the subject of two of her books,) her can-do attitude and outernational insights have been on wide display:  journalism, books, radio, television, university teaching, multi-media lecturing, museum dialogs, the recording studio, the stage —  and her beat still goes on (viviengoldman.com)

Recorded in 2021 at Elephantwest by Werner Thenmayer, the three-Song EP is available from April 1st 2022 on. Timewaster is Lime Crush’s fourth release.

Goldkante, a new band out of Vienna and Linz with Mops, Pezzy, Rainer and Martin. The People in Goldkante know each other for ages, have been in – or are in bands (laying low beause of the Virus) together like Target Of Demand, Seven Sioux, Grant (Royal). Martin was in Kurort, easily one of the best bands ever (dis)gracing stages in Austria and elsewhere.

On May 18th, 2021 the Group’s debut 7″ will surface, with two Songs: Ohrfeigenlandschaft (put together from lines from the novel „Schöne Tage“ by Franz Innerhofer, published in 1974) and Lockdown Lovers (Rainer saying No! to the notion that anyone could want the world back as it was before).

Excited to announce the Vinyl Release of the Cliquey Bitches’ Scorpio Scorpio EP!

Cliquey Bitches is a Los Angeles punky-pop supergroup brought to you by pals Seth Bogart (Hunx & His Punx, etc.), Alice Bag (The Bags, etc.), and Allison Wolfe (Bratmobile, etc.). In the summer of 2018, after filming a skit as a make-believe band for Seth Bogart’s World of Wonder TV series Feelin’ Fruity, the trio decided to create a project band for reals with Wolfe (Scorpio) on lead vocals, Bag (Scorpio) on keys and backing vocals, and Bogart (Pisces) on guitar and drum machine, Cliquey Bitches delivers melodic punky-pop narratives of lust gone wrong, game-playing big mouths, and straight-white-dude dominance in “alternative” music.
